  • our lil' polka dotted friend, teddy,
  • with his golden mirror,
  • pretty bronze flowers,
  • and gold hula-hoop,
  • a black swarovski crystal and brown wooden bead to complement.
  • all of which is suspended from a long 14k gold-plated chain
that allows teddy to hang comfortably above our navel.

(all findings and chains are 14k gold-plated)

  • Adoption Fee: s$26
this neckalce never fails to remind me of a skipping rope game
that i used to play when i was much younger...
hahaha... it starts with

"C. O. C. O. N. U. T.
Coconut, Coconut, A, B, C

and ultimately ends with

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, JUMP, JUMP, Jump!
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, turn around,
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, touch the ground.
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, wink one eye,
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, slap your knees.
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, touch your nose,
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, touch your toes.
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, shut the door,
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, count to four.
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, say goodnight."

missing the good old days when things were so much simpler... sigh~

Hi,

At the recent NUS Vday bazaar, I got you to make one of these for me - and I collected it on Thurs (14/2). Just to refresh your mem, I asked you to add a clasp to the chain.

Well, today was the first time I wore it out, and it shocked me to realize that just merely holding a book to my chest (i.e. hugging it) could cause one end of the horizontal chain within the loop to be detached! I know you like to keep the "fragile look", but it being that fragile was really quite disappointing...

hey pearlene,

thank you so much for your patience, and thank you for allowing us to rectify the issue with you!! =) hope you like the new necklace, and do feedback to us as it will help us to improve.

but we do understand your frustration as we have experienced such cases of broken accessories ourselves... just to share with you a couple of tips that a Lee Hwa jeweller shared with us a couple of years ago :)

1. Jewellery are delicate items so make sure you do not get the chains tangled onto items which you are holding or wearing, for it will sure snap when you pull.
2. Be gentle when putting them on!
3. For them to last longer, do clean them after a hot sweaty day, especially for accessories that are plated, for sweat is a pretty good reactant!
4. Last but perhaps not that important, Never throw them into your washing machine!

Hope these few advices helped! :) Do check out the product care information if you need more advices.
Thanks once again and sorry for all the trouble!
